one thousand twenty three: ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

I've lived in Florida nearly all my life and if I've learned only one thing in my time living here, it's that you need to be ready for any kind of weather at anytime. There are definitely times where the rain is more sporadic and times when it's more consistent. Over the summer, nine times out of ten, you can expect showers in the afternoon. But one day you may have light showers and the next day you may have a downpour. Now we've finally made it to the official fall season as of yesterday, and we've been seeing a little less rain on a consistent basis, but the few times that it has have been very heavy rain. The only good thing about the rain in the fall as opposed to the rain in the summer is that we're starting to expect cooler weather after these systems move through. And that's one thing I can totally get behind. Today's look is a casual look featuring my favorite denim pant and a casual striped button up shirt. It's similar to many looks I wear on a regular basis and it's because it works so well with very little amount of effort. And just as a reminder for those that get tired of certain situations that occur on a sporadic or consistent way in their own lives, whether it's something as trivial as the weather or something more serious, there are always ways to change them. And as you can see physically in today's photos (that were taken seconds apart), sometimes those changes happen very quickly when you really want them to.

Today I am wearing:
•Faux leather five panel hat from Urban Outfitters
•Striped button up shirt from H&M
•Belt from H&M
•511 slim fit commuter denim from Levi's
•Canvas sneakers from Vans
