There are quite a few people out there that use terms like simple and basic to reflect that someone may not be as bold or as well put together as themselves. And I understand where those people are coming from, but every now and again a basic and simple look can be what you really need to showcase your style. Instead of letting the garments or accessories you wear do all the talking, throw on some basic staples, style them to your heart's content and let your styling be the one that does the talking. For example, in today's outfit I'm wearing a polo shirt and denim jeans. What could sound more boring than that?! But with a cuff here and a cuff there of both the shirt and jeans and the addition of some eye popping accessories and you see that the overall look goes from "BOOO!" to "BOOYAH!". A lot of times fashion and style goes hand in hand with each other, but I think that in today's case it's all about style. And bringing it back to what I said earlier, would you rather promote your own style or promote someone else's fashion? The choice is yours!
