sixteen hundred twenty: adaptations

The key to layering in those hot months without sweating your ass off too much is to adapt those layering pieces you use to be more appropriate for the weather. For example, today I went with a sleeveless vest and wore it with a tank top underneath. In the winter months this outerwear piece would normally go over a sweater or sweatshirt for added warmth, but today it's being used pretty much just for aesthetics as a thicker sleeveless shirt of sorts. The rest of my outfit consists of a strap back hat, a pair of drawstring shorts, and a pair of canvas sneakers. Overall, this is a fun sporty summer look and it's a lot less basic than it would have been with just the tank top. I hope that everyone is having a lucky Friday the 13th today and I hope that you all have a great upcoming weekend!

Today I am wearing:
•Strap back hat from Brixton
•Puffy vest from H&M
•Tank top from H&M
•Drawstring shorts from H&M
•Canvas sneakers from Vans
