Today was the day that we got to see all the hard work we've put in at my store pay off in a big way. We passed a walk through of our store from members of our district management team with the score of a ninety out of one hundred! It was just a little disappointing since our last walk at the start of the fall season was a ninety five, but I am still extremely proud of our team and all the hard work and long hours that were put in to get us to where we are today! So in honor of today being such an important day, I decided to suit up. The suit I'm wearing today is one of my favorite suits ever and I wore one of my favorite bow ties with it as well. And it wouldn't be a complete Mannswear look without a little twist, so in place of where I would normally wear dress shoes, I decided to wear my Air Force 1's to give my outfit something different. At first I thought it seemed like an awesome idea and then I actually had some of my own doubts about it. But when I put them on after having the suit on, I realized that it would be a very fresh way to update a more basic look. The saying "don't knock it til you try it" comes to mind big time when thinking about my updated look today and it really is some of the best advice you can follow when it comes to personal style. So the next time you have a styling idea that you're not so sure of, give it a try anyway! You never know if it can be pulled off until you try.
