one thousand eighty six: cold front / cold back

Even though it seemed like it was going to be endless, the rain finally stopped early this afternoon. And just when it finally stopped, the temperature quickly dropped. I've spent about enough Thanksgiving's in my life in the 80 degree range, so it will be nice to have cool weather this holiday season. Today was my final day of work in preparation of retail's biggest day of the year on Friday. And it was definitely a challenging day for me, but now that it's over, I'm thankful for being given the challenges I've been given. Today's look is a casual cozy and comfortable look that not only kept me dry in the morning, but also kept me warm in the afternoon and evening. I'm wearing one of my favorite jackets and I threw in a pop of color with the sweatshirt which I wore over one of my favorite polo shirts. I finished off the outfit with a casual pair of slim fit denim jeans and some canvas sneakers. I've mentioned it before and I'll say it again, when you go into a day that you know is going to be physically and mentally taxing, it's best for you to at least wear something that you know you'll be comfortable in so when the problems and challenges arise, you can at least stay cool, calm and collected in one aspect of your day. I hope that all of you enjoy a well deserved and much needed holiday and thank YOU all for your support. It means the world to me.

Today I am wearing:
•Snap back hat from Stüssy
•Hooded faux leather jacket from H&M
•Sweatshirt from H&M
•Polo shirt from J Crew
•Belt from H&M
•511 slim fit commuter denim from Levi's
•Canvas sneakers from H&M
