one thousand forty three: modern classic

Today's look is a preppy casual look that is comfortable, sporty, and classic all in one. The silhouette is reminiscent of a classic casual look but, with the choice of colors today, it is a little more exciting than you'd expect by just looking at the shapes and styling of the garments. Some of the color choices are a little more eye catching than others and I love the fact that the pop of red in the shoes sort of comes out of left field, but still works to give the overall outfit a modern twist. The best way to make sure that the classics don't go out of style is to breathe a little fresh and new air into them every once and a while. Give it a try yourself!
