Today is the final day of my feature that involves a garment that I rarely wear, but have found myself a lot more fond of after this past week and challenging myself to wear and style them in the best way possible. The garment that I'm speaking of is the short sleeve button up shirt. I was never completely opposed to them since as you see, I do own quite a few of them. But something about them has just never called to me or been as attractive as their long sleeved versions. Even though the majority of the time I wear the long sleeved versions I have the sleeves rolled up, I still felt more comfortable in them than in the short sleeved ones. But I think I've finally moved past that after a week of challenging myself to only wear those kinds of shirts. The silhouettes of this week's looks are nearly all the same and the only minor styling differences have been the difference between how casual the footwear choice has been and whether or not I decided to wear a hat or let my hair go free. For the last outfit of the week, I'm wearing a patterned tropical themed button up shirt, slim fit pants, and a casual pair of loafers. Even though I'm far from being on any type of vacation, this outfit is definitely something I'd wear if I were enjoying some time off. I am getting to enjoy one day off before one of the most hectic work weeks starting tomorrow, so I think the relaxed and tropical theme is still justified. I hope that all of you enjoy the final day of your weekend and I'll see you for the start of another new week tomorrow!
Today I am wearing:
•Patterned tropical themed button up shirt from H&M
•Belt from H&M
•Slim fit five pocket pant from H&M
•Argyle socks from Target
•Loafers from Sperry
