nine sixty five: solid outfit part one

This week I've decided to do a feature of sorts that's based on outfits with majorly two main colors. I've worn a lot of patterns so far this summer, but my main goal is to show that you can wear solid colors and still make a look that isn't boring. When most people think of solid colors in an outfit, they think that it has to make it an overall basic outfit which is completely untrue. With the right colors and the right styling, you can make these looks just as exciting and eye catching as those with patterns and multiple colors throughout. Today's look is a casual look with a bit of a preppy feel to it. I feel like the green pants really bring a lot of the excitement I mentioned to this particular look. And with the plain white button up shirt added to a more colorful pant, it makes a look that's basic in nature give off a more bold and exciting vibe overall.
