nine twenty four: new news

Today's look is a casual modern newsboy style look. No suspenders or messenger bag for me in today's outfit. But it still captures the same kind of feel when you look at it overall. The hat is what really gives it that appeal at first glance. And the striped shirt and casual pants (even though they're denim and not a cropped or high water trouser) help it continue along. Lastly, the shoes aren't an oxford as a newsboy might be more accustom to wearing, but it is a leather lace up shoe that I think works just as well in a modern sense of this look. Overall, this look is nothing special, but it's always great to see and notice certain influences to a look and outfit when I know very well that I didn't plan this as I was putting it together. You all should try that sometime. You never know what you might find out about yourself from the way you dress!
