Today's look is a casual rugged style look with grey being the focus color of the whole outfit. In my last few posts I've been wearing much brighter selections to contrast the gloomy days that we've been experiencing lately. But today I decided to follow that old saying "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" and went with colors that match most of the clouds on this overcast and rain filled day. The grey pieces that are the focus of today's outfit are a light grey knitwear piece from J Crew that I found while thrifting and the Levi's 511 slim fit denim. I still have a couple pops of color in the striped shirt that I'm wearing underneath the light grey knitwear piece and in the argyle socks that I'm wearing today. And lastly, for my shoes and belt, I went with a brown color scheme with the belt and a dessert style boot to give the look a more rugged appeal. If you're finding yourself getting tired of this summer rain already, maybe you should think about joining 'em, too!
