Today's look is a classic casual look with a preppy twist. Not too long ago I was discussing the importance of putting a look together with only solid colors. Today's look is a lot like that one in a way. All of the garments except for the striped socks and the trim on the shirt are solid colors. Since there are few patterns to break the solids up, I made sure that the outfit made a bold statement on it's own without them by using a strong color scheme. The black and grey don't stand out that much by themselves. But the pop of bright green from the pant makes all the difference and let's the black and grey colors really stand out. I hope that this week has treated you all as well as it's treated me and I also hope the upcoming weekend does the same!
