Today's look is a very light and summery casual look. Even though I went back to work today, I carried over the weekend a little bit into my outfit today. I still had plenty going on at work to get done and it was as tough as a Monday normally is, but it really did help keep my mood and spirits up by wearing this lighter resort style casual look. The shorts are a definite favorite of mine for this time of year and I think the shirt goes with it perfectly to play off of the darker colors of the shorts. Lastly, I gave the overall outfit a bit of an edge by bringing the black studded belt and all black leather Vans into it. These two items are ones that you would definitely not normally see at a resort or on a cruise. But in the end, I think that it helps make the look more like myself than it would have been with loafers or a less edgy belt. I know that the weekend officially ended yesterday, but don't think that it has to end in your closet!
