I'm sure a lot of you have heard the term "Canadian Tuxedo" before. It refers to a very heavily driven denim outfit, or in some cases all denim. I decided not to go with the full on denim look today, but it's still ever present in today's look. I've expressed before that when I personally double up on denim in a single outfit, I like to follow the light and dark denim mixing. I've actually seen very well put together and styled denim looks that use the same color and wash when doubling up, but I'm not there just yet. The other accents in today's outfit are the brown polo shirt, brown and blue braided belt, brown argyle socks, and grey sneakers. When doing a heavily driven denim outfit like this, I of course want pops of color in it, but I also don't want it to take away too much from the main attraction. So just keep it simple and consistent and it will turn out great.
Today I am wearing:
•Sunglasses from H&M
•Denim jacket from H&M
•Polo shirt from Munsingwear
•Braided belt from H&M
•511 Commuter from Levi's
•Argyle socks from Target
•Sneakers from Vans
